    If you haven't voted for a while, they can switch your status from 'active' to 'inactive'.

    You are still registered.

    I'm registered to vote at home.... but I'm at school.

    The other option is to go to your nearest polling place and vote a provisional ballot. The provisional ballot will be verified by election officials and will take some time to work through the system.

    Going forward, be sure to register where you live.
